FAQ

Questions and answers

Is Bilblick a car dealer?

No. Bilblick is an independent service for people buying a car. We do not sell or own cars, and we are not a party to the purchase.

Do you sell cars?

No. You find the car yourself, and if you buy it you buy it directly from the seller. We help you assess the deal and can negotiate for you.

Who decides whether to buy the car?

You do. We give a recommendation, but we never buy the car for you or enter into agreements in your name. “Approve” in your case means you approve the next step of our work – not a purchase.

Can you guarantee a lower price?

No. Sometimes the price can come down, sometimes it works better to negotiate terms such as winter wheels, servicing or warranty, and sometimes the price is already reasonable. We always report price discounts and other negotiated value separately.

What happens if the dealer does not reply?

If the dealer does not reply in writing, we call. If, despite reasonable attempts, we cannot reach the dealer and therefore cannot carry out the negotiation, we refund the fee. Refunds do not apply because the dealer does not lower the price, the negotiation gives no discount, the price was already reasonable, we advise against the purchase or you decide not to buy.

What is included in Negotiate for me?

For 995 kr we contact the dealer, get missing information about servicing, warranty and condition, and negotiate the price and terms within the limits you have approved. You get regular updates and a final recommendation. Bilblick Plus (1 995 kr) also includes a human review of the whole case, an in-depth review of the offer, terms and service and warranty information, and coordination of an independent inspection when needed. You pay for the inspection itself separately to the inspection company.

Can you inspect the car physically?

No. Our analysis is based on the ad and the information we receive. It does not replace a physical inspection. When there is reason to, we recommend that you have an independent garage or inspection company examine the car before you buy.

Does the service work for private ads?

You can check cars from private ads for free. We currently offer Negotiate for me only when the car is sold by a car dealer.

What if important information is missing?

Then we say so. We separate information from the ad, our calculations and things that have not been checked. If we have too few comparable cars, we show no price range instead of guessing.

How do you work out the market price?

We compare with asking prices for similar cars – same model and fuel, nearby model year and mileage – and adjust for differences. Ad prices are asking prices, not final prices. We need at least 5 comparable cars to show a range.

Do you use AI?

We use automation to read ads, calculate price ranges and organise cases. Prices and conclusions are based on information we can show, not on guesses. Every negotiation case is handled by a person, and high-risk recommendations are reviewed manually.

How is my information handled?

For a free analysis we need no personal details. For Negotiate for me we need your name, e-mail and phone number. We do not share your contact details with the dealer unless you ask us to. Read more in our privacy policy (in Swedish).

Can I cancel the service?

Yes, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Swedish distance-selling law. If you asked us to start straight away and withdraw after we have begun, you may have to pay for the part already performed. Read more in our terms (in Swedish).

Is the service available in English?

Yes, you can check a car and read the result in English. Bilblick works with cars sold in Sweden. Our terms, privacy policy and withdrawal information are published in Swedish, and the Swedish version is the legally binding text.
