How it works

From ad to a clear answer

You find the car. We review the deal and help you negotiate. You make the decision.

  1. Send us the car

Paste the link to the ad. If something is missing, you fill in the essentials – no account needed.

  2. Get a clearer basis for your decision

We go through the price, the risks and what is missing, and show what you should check before you buy.

  3. Let us negotiate

If you want, we contact the dealer, get what is missing and negotiate the price and terms within your limits.

1. Check the car – free

Paste the link to the ad. We use the information the ad publishes – make, model, model year, mileage, price and seller. If we cannot read everything, we ask you to fill in what is missing.

You get a preliminary assessment: how the price compares with similar cars, which risks are worth checking, what has not been verified and which questions you should ask.

2. Negotiate for me

If you want help with a car from a car dealer, we make the contact. After payment you confirm your target price and maximum price. Only then do we contact the dealer.

  • We introduce ourselves as Bilblick and say that we are contacting them on behalf of a customer. We never pretend to be you.
  • We start with the most important questions – servicing, warranty, condition and total price.
  • We negotiate the price and things like winter wheels, servicing and warranty. We never make an offer above your maximum price, and we never invent competing bids or faults in the car.
  • If the dealer does not reply in writing, we call. A case should never be left lying.
  • When something needs your decision, we get in touch. “Approve” means we go ahead – not that you buy.

3. Final recommendation

You get a summary with the price, negotiated value, remaining risks and our recommendation: buy, buy if the conditions are met, or investigate further / walk away. You buy directly from the dealer – if you want to.

How we assess

We distinguish between four kinds of information:

  • Verified – confirmed by documents or an official source.
  • Stated by the seller – what the ad says or what the dealer tells us. It has not been checked.
  • Calculated – for example the price range and target price, according to fixed rules.
  • Not verified – things we do not know. We say so.

The price range is based on asking prices for similar cars – same model and fuel, nearby model year and mileage – adjusted for differences in mileage and model year. Ad prices are asking prices, not final prices. We need at least 5 comparable cars to show a range. With fewer, we show nothing.

Mileage is given in Swedish mil: 1 mil = 10 km.

We use automation to read ads, calculate and organise cases. Facts, prices and recommendations are based on information we can show. Every negotiation case is handled by a person, and high-risk recommendations are reviewed manually.

What we do not do

  • We do not inspect the car physically. Our analysis does not replace an inspection – when there is reason to, we recommend an independent check.
  • We do not sell cars or accept payment from car dealers.
  • We do not arrange loans or insurance.
  • We do not buy the car for you or sign agreements in your name.
  • We don’t sell carsBilblick does not sell or own any cars.
  • On the buyer’s sideWe take no commission or other payment from car dealers. You pay us – nobody else.
  • You always decideWe never contact the dealer without your approval, and we never buy the car for you.
  • If something is missing, we say soWe separate information from the ad, our calculations and things that have not been checked.
